35/52

*A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.*

Matteo:  Whenever you want something, you point at it and mumble a series of very meaningful but indecipherable sounds.  Your favorite activity this week is opening and closing the garage door (oh, the power of a button!) when Papa leaves for work in the morning.  From the second he gets in the car, you point at the button with as much emphasis as possible, making it clear that you intend to push it.  You wave bye bye to Papa to appease us, but you're clearly biding your time until you get to press that big button.  When you finally do, the garage door rolls down with a clang, and our day begins.
