36/52

*A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.*

Matteo:  You love to carry things around with you, usually plastic lids or containers.  If we try to take one of your little treasures away, you immediately throw yourself on the ground, like Scarlett O'hara, and protest with a great show of tears.  It's both laughable and a little heartbreaking.  The solution is usually to tempt you with a new plastic treasure, which quickly makes you happy again.  I find lids all over the house--in the bathtub, under the bed, on the staircase, between couch cushions, and in the washing machine.  You must be a collector at heart, dear little Matteo...just like your mama.
