7/52

*A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2014.*

Matteo: Favorite words and phrases this week: "No more" (said like one word, when you're done eating or when you don't want to do something; said with conviction); "Uh oh" (when you drop something or make a mess; also to alert us when you have an accident in the tub; said while clinging to the side of the tub to avoid possible contamination; "Uh oh" is also your go to when the dog starts barking); "Roo roo" (translation: "Vroom vroom," said while pushing the laundry basket around the house at top speed like a race car); "Bee" (you love pointing out pictures of bees, which you seem to find everywhere--seriously, I had no idea how many pictures of bees were in circulation); "Moon" (said while pointing to the giant white ball hanging in the sky); "Aya" (your word for airplane, or anything similar, like a helicopter or ceiling fan; said with enthusiasm).
