*A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2014.*

Matteo: Building a rock collection in the desert.  "Wrop!  Wrop!" you proclaim excitedly, whenever we go anywhere outside.  If you're in the stroller, you lean over, straining against the safety harness, trying to reach the "wrops" calling to you from the sidewalk.  You settle back in as soon as you tuck one or two rock companions in next to you for a walk around the neighborhood.  When you're free to run around outside, you use them to build little towers, usually two or three "wrops" high.
