Matteo: Right now your favorite game is to point out every garage door in the neighborhood, yelling "up!" or "dowwwwn!" loudly and repeatedly, until we acknowledge how clever you are. Sometimes you still get up and down confused, but you say it so convincingly that I believe you must see something I don't. You also love pointing out "babies," which can pretty much be anything small. Today, you brought me a handful of tiny green fallen apples and sweetly said "Babies." I felt very proud of you.
