Matteo: It rained this afternoon, so there were lots of puddle-stomping opportunities. Splashing is one of your many talents.
Lilah: You climbed up to the top of the play structure all by yourself this afternoon. You were so proud. Someone scratched "I am here" onto the surface of the vinyl just to the left of your feet. There is also a little arrow, pointing right to where you were standing. This seems like such an appropriate expression of your growing sense of independence. You are here, my love, and we are proud of you, too.
