Matteo: About to feast on the pumpkin donuts we made together. (Pumpkin donuts means fall is officially here!) You actually ended up taking a tiny bite out of each one rather than restricting yourself to silly things like manners or conventional snack etiquette.
Lilah: Sleeping sweetly in the soft morning light. You are almost eight pounds already and have officially outgrown your newborn-sized clothing. We pulled out some of your brother's outfits from this age, and I have been ooh-ing and ah-ing like crazy to see you in those tiny familiar patterns. I am really enjoying our days alone together at home, and I couldn't love you more.
