*A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015*

Matteo: You started riding your bike this week!  You've been pedaling your tricycle around the house for weeks, turning corners like a professional racetrike driver, always at the last possible second before crashing into something.  I think all the practice really helped!  So far, you prefer to pedal around in circles in the garage, but have also ventured out into the street.  It didn't take you long to start doing fancy tricks, like lifting your feet off the pedals.  Caution doesn't seem to enter into your bike riding vocabulary.  You've fallen a few times, but thankfully the training wheels really help to keep you steady.  What an exciting milestone for my little boy.  I'm so proud of you!

Lilah: Your naps are filled with funny little cooing and grunting sounds, lots of big yawns and tiny sweet smiles.
